May 30th – 6:30-8:30 pm Cheryl saw lots of activity including beavers on the bank and getting willow in the scrape near amtrak. But no kits. CR

May 27th – 6:30pm – 8:30pm – Kit watchers were down at the dam sites but still no sightings of kits. Four beavers were seen during the viewing, of which, two were very busy mudding the secondary dam. It seems the two were last years kits and they were very busy. Mom came down to the dam followed by the smallest yearling. They both went up on the dam and spent some time swimming around. Mom finally crossed over the dam followed by the yearling and they swam on down stream towards the third dam. It was great to see the two swimming right together on their way down. CR, LB

May 26th – 7:00pm – Five beavers were seen again down by the secondary dam. All were just slowly swimming around and there was anticipation that maybe kits would be seen as they seemed to be checking things out. Soon there was a large tail slap and then all swam over the secondary dam and on down the creek. HP, JR

May 18th – 7:00pm – 8:00pm – A very large muskrat was seen swimming around the primary dam. Later during the evening five beavers were seen mainly down by the secondary dam. HP, JR, CR

May 11th – 7:00pm – Another beautiful night for beaver viewing. Five beavers were seen and it looked like they all came from upstream,, as they were seen swimming down from the primary dam towards the secondary dam. Each one came down by itself. Mom was seen and all three yearlings plus another beaver from two years ago, who has not left yet to find his own territory. HP, JR, CR, LB

May 5th – early morning – Two yearlings were seen nuzzling together. Also seen was one big beaver working on the primary dam. The mom duck with her seven baby ducklings crossed over the primary with a beaver near by watching. All made it across and swam away. HP, JR
