February 25th – afternoon. Male & Female hooded mergansers in breeding plumage sitting on skip’s flow device. A lone female off to the side. Will someone move into our woodduck boxes and nest?
February 25th – 5:45-6:30 AM – Two beavers were seen working on the secondary dam. Lots of mudding and rearranging of some of the branches. While we were watching, we got a tail slap. It was nice to see the beavers out as it has been awhile since a sighting.HP, JR
